Nippon Racing has redesigned these pistons to share the alloy of the far superior Mitsubishi OEM Turbo castings.
These pistons have the Deck and the Ring lands Fully coated with a Knock Resistant Coating.
The skirts have been Polished to a dull surface finish to Eliminate potential hot spots and further aid in heat transfer to the cylinder walls.
These pistons have been tested to support over 450 WHP with the proper tuning and supporting mods.
Dome displacement has been matched to within .005 CC .
This results in near identical cylinder compression, yielding more horsepower and better efficiency.

Skunk2 Alpha Series Rods

Alpha Series Rods are forged from select 4340 chromoly steel and feature a straight H-beam design, resulting in the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio. 4340 chromoly is one of the strongest materials available, however, not all 4340 chromoly is the same. As such, Skunk2 relies on extensive material testing and works closely with its foundry to produce high-quality rods at an affordable price. Comprehensive heat-treating, tempering, and shot-peening processes together ensure that each Alpha Series Rod remains consistent and strong. Finally, each rod is magna-fluxed to ensure integrity and that each process has been completed thoroughly and according to Skunk2’s rigid specifications.

Eagle Acura/Honda ESP Rods

Heat treated, stress relieved, certified 4340 steel 2-piece forgings for increased strength. X-rayed, sonic tested, magna-fluxed, 100% machined with extremely tight tolerances, bronze bushings for floating pins. Excellent for nitrous, turbo/supercharged, and high RPM applications.

Oil Catch Cans

Oil catch can kits filters out oil and water vapors that normally enters through the PCV system, effectively raising the octane content in the combustion chamber. This kit also reduces carbon build-up on the intake valves which is an inherent issue found on direct injected engines.
