Tuner Series Stage 2 Camshafts are designed to optimize horsepower and torque on engines featuring free-flowing intake and exhaust tracts, increased compression, and upgraded valvetrain. As a result, VTEC crossover is dramatic, allowing for that classic primary-to-secondary surge. What’s more, Tuner Series Stage 2 Camshafts have helped power numerous race teams to victory over the years, reaching legendary status the world over. First introduced in 1999, Tuner Series Camshafts are manufactured from the same proprietary, high-quality cores as Skunk2’s more aggressive Pro Series Camshafts, are CNC ground, and feature unique profiles and lobe shapes that emphasize an exceptional idle and low emissions.
Skunk2 camshafts deliver unparalleled power as a result of continual, extensive development and testing. By utilizing advanced manufacturing techniques and the latest computerized simulation and modeling equipment, Skunk2 camshafts are able to deliver maximum power across the entire powerband. Skunk2 designs and tests all of its camshafts in-house to ensure the highest quality and performance. Each camshaft is manufactured of newly revised chill-cast, billet camshaft blanks that have increased torsional strength, improved durability characteristics, and reduced frictional effects. All Skunk2 camshafts are ground to exact specifications using state-of-the-art CNC cam grinding machines equipped with cubic-boron grinding wheels and feature hardened, wear-resistant lobes and surfaces.

BLOX Valve Spring and Chromoly Retainer Kit:
BLOX Racing valve springs are wound using super clean, chrome silicone alloy. These valve springs are designed and engineered for both high performance street driving and all-out racing conditions. Each set provides maximum lift while preventing valve float and helps counter the effects of spring surge. These are perfect for naturally-aspirated and forced-induction engines. Easy installation, no machining is required. Recommended for aftermarket, performance camshafts.
Alpha Series Valves (Optional):
Manufactured from HNV3 martensitic steel (IN) and EV8 austenitic steel (EX) one-piece forgings, each valve is heat-treated using a proprietary process for extraordinary strength and durability. Alpha Series Valves feature hard chrome plating and fully machined valve heads. Other valves may appear similar, but only Alpha Series Valves feature specially designed valve head profiles to optimize airflow. Skunk2 designs, develops, and tests its entire valvetrain lineup in-house to ensure superior quality and maximum performance gains. During development, each valvetrain component is tested both on the dyno and the road. Manufactured from the best materials available in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment ensure that Skunk2 valvetrain components provide exceptional performance, reliability, and quality. These components remain standard-issue on each Skunk2 vehicle that we build and support.
