These short hubs were designed specially so that an aftermarket steering wheel can install with the quick release kit that mounts in the same location, not too close to the driver. Made from the highest quality aluminum. Their Short Hubs are made to work with NRG Quick Release Products. The short hubs are designed to utilize one piece solid construction for the maxim in durability and usability.

The NRG generation 2.0 Quick Release features many options that conventional ball-locking quick release system do not. The Generation 2.0 is specially engineered with raised sections to prevent the scratching and stretching of the hub while a self locking feature adds increased safety and functionality. Each unit is made from the highest quality aircraft grade aluminum and is anodized for maximum durability and finish.

This allows much easier release for the steering wheel by providing added leverage and grip onto the pull ring. Features a colored body with a Neochrome ring for added style and look to any vehicle. NRG Quick Release Install Reference Guide For Gen 1.5,2.0, 2.5, 2.8, & 3.0 Quick Release Kits. There are three primary pieces need for the NRG Quick Release to function. A Steering Wheel, NRG Short Hub, and of course the NRG Quick Release System. An optional NRG Quick Lock is also available for added security to your vehicle but is not required. All or these components are available via our website and can be purchased separately or in one of our NRG Quick Release Combo Packages.
